Students Code of Conduct
Each student is expected to:
- Bring school diary and ID card on all working days.
- Obey all campus and classroom rules. Students should be polite and courteous. They must greet their teachers, elders and other respectable persons when they meet them. They should also greet one another.
- All students shall be in the school premises at least five minutes before the morning bell. Early comers are expected to remain in their class rooms and study in silence till the warning bell goes.
- All must remain silent and study till the teacher comes to the class. Students shall keep silence and decorum in the classes. In the absence of a teacher, they must not leave their classrooms or seats. They should not make any noise. The class leader must report the matter in the office.
- Students shall endeavour to keep up the high standard and morale of the school by excelling in studies, good manners and deportment.
- Prepare for each class; take appropriate materials and assignments to class.
- Attend all classes, regularly and on time.
- Converse only in English. English is strictly the medium of communication within the campus.
- Respect the rights and privileges of students, teachers and report information to school that may jeopardise others safety.
- Respect school property; be responsible for the safety of ones belongings.
- Cooperate with and assist the school staff in maintaining safety, discipline and an orderly environment.
- Reading materials like books, periodicals, comics film magazine, electronic equipment and curious articles should not be brought to the school.
- Pupils are advised not to wear gold ornaments other than ear rings when they come to school. They should not have too much of pocket money and expensive items.
- Pupils or parents must not give any present to the teachers without the permission from the principal.
- Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not allowed.
- Students are allowed to use the school telephone with the permission of the office staff. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
- Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone to school. If they do so, it will be confiscated. Also not allow to bring any kind of electronic devices, CDs, USB drives without the prior consent of the school authorities.
- Students are not allowed to celebrate their birthday in the school with cakes, sweets or any other such items.
- Meet campus standards of grooming and dress.
- Prayers must be recited with due respect and devotion. All the students are exhorted to cultivate the habit of daily morning and evening prayers. Catholic students are recommended to visit the blessed sacraments in the morning and during the noon interval time.
- Behave in a responsible manner, showing regard for authority, always exercising self-discipline.
- Demonstrate courtesy, even when others do not.
