“If we want a child’s mind to grow we must first plant a seed”
Scooping up the dirt, placing the seeds in the pots and pouring the water all take fine motor control and strength. As kids garden, they develop important motor skills that will help them improve their academic skills such as writing, cutting and typing. The DePaul Public School Kindergarten section organised “Plant A Seed Day” on 30th July 2019 at the schools indoor stadium. The Principal, Vice Principal & the Director inaugurated the event by Planting a seed and spoke on how important is the need of doing organic cultivation and keeping away from fertilizers. The KG children are taught how to make seed bed from fibres and how organic farming is done.
