"Colour is the place where our brains and the universe meet" Paul Kylee
Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine, and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy. The motive of celebrating yellow day was to make the kids aware of the colour yellow, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills in the students. The children of KG section of De Paul celebrated the Yellow Day pompously and ostentatiously on 11th October 2019, so as to make a day of merriment and cheerfulness. The day began with fun filled introduction concerning the colour yellow. Students were all dressed up in different shades of yellow colour. It was indeed a visual treat to see the impact of the yellow colour on our little angels. A fruit salad is delicious precisely because each fruit maintains its own flavour. Instead of trying to blend in and be like everyone else, the little ones were proud enough to celebrate their unique differences and qualities. The day was more than a celebration. They made fruit salad and enjoyed it with a spirit of oneness and fraternity. It was quite encouraging and emboldening to notice the inestimable and incalculable presence of Fr. Jose Basil (The Director), Mrs. Lata Alexander (The Principal), and Mrs. Sheelu Paulson (KG Coordinator). All the students of Nursery and LKG made use of the opportunities and showcased their talents.
